After studying Economics, Business Administration, and Law, Mr. Teubner worked at a leading German industrial group (Linde) in Europe and overseas for almost a decade. First, he was project manager for large-scale industrial plant construction ventures and then head of the group’s Organization & Methods department.
Thereafter, he was active as an international management consultant for more than 20 years and headed the operations of Roland Berger abroad for several years. He then founded his own consulting company in South Africa. His clients included a number of European subsidiary companies. In some cases, he was instrumental in setting up their overseas operations. He focused on market research, strategy consulting and project management, with an emphasis on integration management.
Mr. Teubner is an internationally Certified Management Consultant (CMC®- IMC ) and has worked as a business coach and mentor for the past 5 years. Apart from the consulting business, he has acquired a wealth of experience in many industries, including: engineering, medical equipment, chemicals, power generation, as well as non-governmental organizations (NGOs).
His main focus as a freelance Project Coach and Management Mentor at S-MM International is cross-cultural management, intercultural training, consulting and facilitation. He has substantial experience with multi-ethnic work forces in South Africa (European, Chinese, Indian, African, etc.)

Mr Michael Ma received a Bachelor of Arts from Henan University in Kaifeng, one of China’s key universities. His major was English, his minor French.
After graduating from university, he was in charge of textile exports to the US, Germany, Korea, Japan, and other countries at the Henan Arts & Crafts Import & Export Co., Ltd, the province’s largest trading house for several years. In this authority, he also started doing business translations.
Afterwards, he became section chief of the Import and Export Department of Henan Arts & Crafts Import & Export
Co., Ltd.The company focuses on textile and light industrial products. Concurrently Mr Ma worked as the key interpreter to the CEO of this corporation for several years, before deciding to make this his key area of expertise. In 1998 he then became a freelance translator and interpreter working for many big companies, such as Henan Native Produce Import and Export Corporation, Henan Yuhui Construction, and Designing Corporation.
In 2003 he also became an associate professor at the famous Sias
International University, the first solely American-owned University in Central China. To further international business opportunities, he started his own translation business in 2006, employing many translators and providing translations and localization services for 20 target languages, such as English, German, Japanese, Russian, Italian, and Spanish, to name just a few.
Mr. Ma is S-MM International’s key contact person in Eastern and Central China.
